Every Plan Just Got Bigger. Same Price.

Founder, Monitorion
A customer wrote to me last week and told me our pricing did not add up. He runs a web agency, monitors client sites for a living, and put it plainly: "I just cannot see the justified cost per monitor."
He was right. So we changed it.
What changed
| Plan | Was | Now | Price |
|---|---|---|---|
| Free | 15 monitors | 25 monitors | $0 — forever |
| Pro | 50 monitors | 100 monitors | $29/mo — unchanged |
| Business | 200 monitors | 400 monitors | $99/mo — unchanged |
| Agency | 500 monitors | 800 monitors | $179/mo — unchanged |
Not a promotion. Not a limited-time offer. These are the new limits, and nobody pays a cent more. If you are already on a paid plan, your new limit is live right now — you do not need to do anything.
Why we did it
The honest answer is that we were counting the wrong thing.
If you run an agency, you do not think in monitors. You think in clients. And a single client site needs about five checks to be covered properly: is it up, is the SSL certificate valid, does the domain renew in time, is it reachable, are the security headers right.
Five monitors per site means our old Pro plan covered ten client sites. We never said that anywhere, and the number on the pricing page did not mean anything to the people reading it. At 100 monitors, Pro now covers roughly twenty sites. Business covers around eighty.
Support changed too
We used to gate "priority support" behind the Business plan. If you pay for the product that is supposed to wake you at 3 AM, you should not be waiting in the same queue as someone who has not. So every paid plan now carries a real response-time commitment:
- Free — docs, community, best-effort email
- Pro — next business day
- Business — same business day
- Agency — 4 hours, plus dedicated onboarding
We are deliberately not claiming 24/7. We are a small team, and a promise we cannot keep is worse than an honest one.
And some things moved to Free
Earlier this month we also stopped charging for three things that should never have been behind a paywall:
- Monitor imports — CSV and UptimeRobot import, previously Business-only, now on every plan including Free
- Audit logs — now on every plan (7 days on Free and Pro, 90 on Business, 365 on Agency)
- Public status pages — Free now includes one
Custom-domain status pages also moved down from Agency to Business.
What has not changed
Prices. Retention. Check intervals. Multi-region consensus is still included on every paid plan rather than billed per location, which is how most of the industry does it.
That last one is worth dwelling on. Several large monitoring platforms bill per check run per location — so running a check from three regions costs three times as much. We require multiple regions to agree before we page you, and we do not charge extra for the regions that make that possible.
If you told us something was wrong
Thank you. Genuinely. Most of this came from a handful of people who took the time to write a blunt email instead of quietly leaving. If something about Monitorion does not make sense to you, reply to any email we send — it reaches a human.
